They just look at scores....that is why that last touchdown by Missouri with 5 seconds left in the game was BAD!!! But who cares who is #1 in September? Wait till December when it truly matters.

Again, notice that the Coaches kept us #1, but the media dropped us. Coaches realize how hard it is to beat a good conference opponent who knows what you are going to do, especially when you have the target of #1. The media are about the story, PERIOD! Don't be surprised the closer we get to LSU-'Bama that we may actually drop to 3rd so that they can hype the game. Conversely, you may see something similar if when we and the Pokes meet, and both are undefeated.

I dont think coaches even look for the most part until the end of the year when they have a chance to help themselves, help a comrade...or hose somobody like SmellsofBourbon did to us a few years ago

Coaches don't fill out their own sheets until the end of the year. Someone in the SID office does it, I'm sure.
