Seriously. Its getting annoying. Ive noticed it on all the telecasts after every play.

There used to be this fat-assed parent that would whistle at all of my USS meets. Outdoors is one thing, but in an indoor pool it's positively excruciating. I think someone finally told her to knock it the hell off.

Pretty sure you're referring to Rodney Rideau. He whistles to get the offenses attention when the coaches want to call in a play.

Okay, that might be it. I did hear it on offense and defense though. Its like 3 short bursts. Maybe they just had the mic near him.

I thought I was hearing a whistle; play kept going and announcers never acknowledged it. Thought I was hearing things.
