I'm preaching to the choir here, but this is so tiring. (get ready for obligatory ESPN bash). Trying to watch College Football Live, for a little entertainment, and of course the whole focus of the show is a game between a couple of unranked has-beens. Notre Dame and Pitt. Either of them would have their head handed to them by any member of the Top 10. The only mention of a top 10 team was the Aggie/Aggie fest.

Geez, what has to happen to put ND on the back burner where they belong? I'm sure they have cost NBC a fortune already.

They won last week. Unless that space junk crashes into the South Bend campus this weekend and totally obliterates it, expect to hear even more about Notre Dame as the season progresses . . .

I think you have to give them 1937 and 1976 but they claim even more than that.

I really hate to be the one to defend Notre Dame, but they actually have both a great offense, and a great defense this year(for like the first time in like 2 decades). They beat a top 15 team in Mich St. 31-13, and if it wasn't for the absolute worst luck a team could possibly have they would easily be 3-0. I would not be surprise at all if they run the table the rest of the way.

I was really shocked at just how great they looked on both sides of the ball. They have done everything they could to shoot themselves in the foot though snatching defeat from the jaws of victory the first 2 games.

The Onion had a story about the Notre Dame win last weekend prompting a major NCAA investigation.

Seems like I've heard ND coverage will end on Dec 21, 2012... along with all other coverage!

I betcha the televised games on NBC have good enough ratings, even when they (usually) stink.

Pitt's National Championships - 1915, 1916, 1918, 1929, 1931, 1934, 1936, 1937, 1976

That's more than OU, OSU, Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas State, Kansas, Texas Tech and Missouri combined.
