Yep, 1966. That was the year Jim Mackenzie showed up at OU with a group of assistants from Arkansas. Most of them turned out to be pretty dang good.

Oh, and that was also one of the few years the sheep lovers claimed a victory over us.

The 60s are also coincidentally the last time Mizzou won a football conference championship ('69 in the Big 8)

They beat us last year. That's more relevant than what hasn't happened since 1966. It is actually a good thing they beat us last year because I am sure they have the team's full attention, which without last year's disappointment, may have been difficult to achieve coming off the big win in Tallahassee.

It is a cool fact though. I will be repeating it to friends for the rest of the week.
