They have made the first real move on conference realignment since the B12 has been in stalemate for the last couple weeks. I think we all can agree that the PAC and SEC will now move forward. However, the B1G has seemingly been the most adamant that they are satisfied at 12 teams.

Questions:

1. Any chance the B1G starts being publicly and privately more proactive now, in light of the ACC making their move (also reports of UConn petitioning to leave the Big East for the ACC as well)?

2. Or, do they continue their "wait and see" approach?

3. IF they decide to actually get involved now, any chance that they will try to steal OU, whorn, and OSU (lack of AAU status possibly irrelevant now, if conference armageddon is upon us) from the PAC, along with finally having some leverage to convince Notre Dame to finally join their ranks? Afterall, if the Big East loses UConn in addition to already having lost Pitt & Syracuse, would the Big East still be viable to Notre Dame for all the other sports they are affiliated with the Big East for?

4. If #3 is a possibility, would Texas be willing to split up with Tech?

I see the B1G finally getting ND to the table because of the new superconference era. They will then take 3 of the following:

Rutgers
Virginia
Mizzou
Kansas
Maryland
Iowa State (yes, they have AAU status)

Interesting, how less than 24 hours after Pitt and Syracuse announce their move to the ACC, ut suddenly jumps on board the PAC express.
