I guess he played better this year. I guess. He did get beat on that huge Stills TD and did nothing on special teams. My question is this:

Can you think of a "star" from an opposing team we played more than once who OU dominated more than Greg Reid?

Yes, any number of Texas players over the years, Nebaska players, etc....

That's what the "star" in quotes was for. I guess hyped is a more accurate word.

^this. possibly the most overhyped player i've heard of in the past two years. he did **** tonight. whether he was in the game or not, it made no difference.

Greg Reid - the little feller that couldn't. He talks a good line though. If only he could back it up.

After all the hype Reid received before last years game, I remember a thread posted on Ouinsider after the game. The title was "Is Greg Reid the Worst Player to Ever Step on Owen Field?" I think it was a fair question. The guy really has nothing going for him other than speed. He is TERRIBLE in coverage.

Yeah, my #1 and #2 in recent memory are Texas' Roy Williams and Seneca Wallace.

TFRW never managed to score against us in 4 years, and Seneca Wallace was being hyped as a Heisman candidate before managing all of 8 yards on the ground against us.

Greg Reid is WAY overrated...

Agree. Reid gets lotso attention for his return skills, but was dinged up enough last night that it wasn't a factor.

Seneca Wallace? Chris Sims?

We only played Seneca Wallace once, in 2002 when he was a senior. Previous 2 years we played KSU, KU, and Nebraska.

He's not even the best cornerback on his team. Mike Harris played a lot better and could actually tackle.
