I honestly can't remember the last time our boys brought the hurt like that in one single game....holy damn those boys played their hearts out! Boomer Sooner!!!

Except for that 3rd and 28 we gave up. Best defense in a long long time!

The hitting tonight was more brutal than any game I can remember since the early 2000's. Our defense is incredibly good with Lewis back

Our defense looks nasty! Best def since 02 or 03...Hopefully they can keep it up...love seeing the defense play great again.

Defense laid the wood tonight! Strong work boys. If the safety position can get coached up this could be a defense that leads us to #8!!

agreed with all Harris in his second game on the road @ a top 5 house played well! this d is wicked nasty! I love it! they brought the WOOD and T Lew and Wort played like animals!!

We still have room for improvement, esp in the secondary but those linebackers are the heart and soul of the team.

The 3rd and 28 was crazy but it is an easy fix. When they go to film they will tell harris to go to the ball. He was waiting on another int instead of attacking. Good play by their wr. Frustrating but since it did not cost the game it will be a good lesson learned.

The TD wasn't even bad coverage. One could say Harris should have hit the dude instead of going for the ball but that's in hindsight. That was a great play by the WR.

even the sun shines on a dog nutz every once and awhile! Triplett or what ever his name was flung it up into triple coverage like crooked face McCoy from saxet does and his guy came down with it! run to improve yes but great show for the second game on the road IMO!!

Hammer laid down the hammer a few times, loved seeing the D-line get some push and opening it up for the backers.

Best D performance in a long time

I can't remember the last time I watched a game and almost felt sorry for the other team's offense.
Our defense is so freaking salty right now its almost unbelievable. I'm very sorry that their receiver was almost killed, but I really don't agree with the penalty on that. Watching our guys get flagged for those defensive plays reminded me of that scene from the Blind Side when the ref gave a penalty for "excessive blocking" :smug:

Okay, so we got torched on that one 3rd and 28 but sometimes when things like that happen its because the other guys are good also, not because we were bad. Up until this game I really didn't buy into FSU being the #5 team, but I have to admit that they have my respect.

You mean we haven't thought to tell him this already? In fact I'm sure he was coached to do this in HS, so he just F'd up. It wasn't from him never being coached to do this.

Javon will be studying that game film. He needs more of a ball-hawking instinct though... almost looked afraid to get into the mix of things with the FSU receiver and Fleming sprinting back.

The defense was really impressive tonight. Some serious hard hitting by the backers and secondary. The few mistakes are correctable and for that being the 2nd game of the season they should have opened a bunch of eyes tonight that the D is for real.

Careful there Madill !!! It is one thing to talk about ability or lack there-of but to talk about some ones physical appearence is ignorant ...........case in point our cheerleader last year that Bevo fans gleefully smeered all over there boards ....Hurt that young lady to the point of not trying out this year!!!!!
These are kids we are dealing with .........treat them accordingly!!!!
