observations:

We are intent on establishing a power running game this year, for better or worse. Not sure I liked our formations that we used to get the short yards. This is consistent with the Tulsa game, where we tried to come out and run it ad nauseum until we loosened up and started to chuck it.

Landry is still prone to bouts of knuckleheaditis. Who the hell was he trying to throw that ball to? Had it been incomplete, it should've been flagged as grounding.

Wort is a beast.

We are the better team. We just need to contain Manuel and have LJ bounce back in the second half. We shortened the game by running the ball so much.

Since I can't stand the talking heads, I switched over to the BYU-Ute game at half. BYU defender just absolutely, without question had a helmet to helmet (actually facemask to facemask) hit that caused Ute to drop ball in the end zone. They didn't call the penalty and Utes missed the field goal. I think the conferences might need to have a meeting and get a little more consistent on that call.
