I really wish Gilbert Grape hadn't screwed up so we'd be facing him instead. I'd hate for them to have any kind of offensive identity coming into the RRS, especially since this year's game is probably going to be a bit more vitriolic than the others.

Part of it is UCLA is absolutely terrible. And UT has caught a lot of breaks. They're better than last year for sure, but that's not that hard to accomplish.

I'm sure the Holiday Bowl committee is very impressed by this win but I'm not.

This UCLA team is even worse than the team that blew Texsucks out at home last year and finished 4-8...

This is the UCLA team that beat San Jose State by 10...

and lost to Houston. I'm not too worried. saxet has gotten better though.

UCLA sucks big time, BUT there is no denying that they are much much better with the McCoy the Younger.

They have the horses to be a very good team (same as last year). Their jockey was just aweful.

McCoy isn't great, or he would have been the starter all along, but he is a huge upgrade to GG.

We'll see where Texas is next week when they travel to Iowa St. The Cyclones aren't loaded with talent, but they are very well coached and will be the best team that Texas has faced by far and the only one with a winning record so far. heh

Texas has been considerably lucky today. However, UCLA has helped them alot.

UCLA is this: McCoy lite under-throws a receiver, UCLA DB goes for obvious pick, and ball bounces off his hands and lands on the hands of the Texas receiver at the 3 yard line.

Texas' defense had a lot to do with UCLA looking so ugly. I'm glad they got their s*** sorted out before the RRS. That game is supposed to mean something.

meh, I hope Texass fan is drinking the koolaid. Playing Rice, BYU and UCLA will not be like it will when they play OU.

The Texas D looked soft up the middle. I hope Whaley and Clay run wild.

Texas will play hard against us regardless - just like they did last year when they sucked.

1. mccoy is definitely the qb, nobody else should sniff the field. thanks for not playin him last yr macky
2. ucla is terrible, poor play calling in 1st qtr lost momentum, bad players getting decleated
3. wrong qb for ucla played waaaaayyyy too much and had 3 int in 1st half
4. uterus play calling much improved

OU 38
uterus 16

I thought McCoy looked good. He is a little loose with the ball when he is under pressure and against a good defense those would lead to turnovers. I thought Malcolm Brown looked good. Finds his gaps and is tough to bring down.
