Travis Lewis to make FSU surprise appearance?

I didn't see this posted as a thread. As we all know T.Lewis came out and said he will not be playing this Saturday. However I am finding a lot of intersting links online right now that are hinting at a possible game-time decision. I don't have ESPN insider so I can't see the whole post. Anyone got any news?

I don't believe in all the black cat/salt over the shoulder non-sense. If it happpens there is nothing I/you can say to jinx it. I was just wondering why after everything was settled this is popping up again.

It's not really some benefit to keep the fact that Travis Lewis is/isn't playing away from FSU. They're going to prepare the same way. I doubt Travis plays, especially if he hasn't been practicing much/at all.

Yeah, after I saw the official announcement I docked the odds so that nobody else vBets on it. BUT, for those of you that already wagered, there's always a slight chance I guess, so if you vBet early, I'll still vPay 28 to 1!

I would be very happy for Travis if he got to play. These are the types of games OU brings in recruits for, not these giant pansy opponents that many other top programs load their early schedules with. THESE games, the top 5 vs top 5 matchups on the road on primetime national TV with ESPN College Gameday in attendance.

I hope he's healthy enough to play. He's a difference maker and you know the rest of the defense will be pumped up even more if they have their leader back on the field.

He could be suited up, participate in pre-game warmup just to get FSU's attention. Make them stop and think that they did not prepare for Travis Lewis to participate. If so it is a really good psychological operation on the part of the OU coaching staff. If he does suit up and does play it would be even better. We will know for certain by kickoff. If he is still hurting, I dont know why he would play if the game is already under control. Whats the point? If he plays Im sure it will be early and try and set the tempo.
