The Messiah, must be losing his skills....

Democrats are expressing growing alarm about President Obama’s re-election prospects and, in interviews, are openly acknowledging anxiety about the White House’s ability to strengthen the president’s standing over the next 14 months.

Elected officials and party leaders at all levels said their worries have intensified as the economy has displayed new signs of weakness. They said the likelihood of a highly competitive 2012 race is increasing as the Republican field, once dismissed by many Democrats as too inexperienced and conservative to pose a serious threat, has started narrowing to two leading candidates, Mitt Romney and Rick Perry, who have executive experience and messages built around job creation.

And in a campaign cycle in which Democrats had entertained hopes of reversing losses from last year’s midterm elections, some in the party fear that Mr. Obama’s troubles could reverberate down the ballot into Congressional, state and local races. …

But a survey of two dozen Democratic officials found a palpable sense of concern that transcended a single week of ups and downs. The conversations signaled a change in mood from only a few months ago, when Democrats widely believed that Mr. Obama’s path to re-election, while challenging, was secure.

This must be the moment with the oceans began to rise and the earth started warming again...

He's in trouble, and he frankly has no one to blame but himself. I think had he not been such a fence straddler and taken a harder line on some issues, from the environment to our Middle Eastern affairs, his base would be more energized. But as it stands now, most feel betrayed. He's gone further to the right on some issues than Bush.

In a nutshell. As a highly successful bank manger once told me, "If you're gonna get fired, make sure it's for doing things your way."

Gallup shows Obama falling 2 more points after his jobs speech. He is becoming the unifier that he promised to be....

Sorry, hasn't heard about this. What's up there?

Special election to replace Anthony Weiner.. As Rex said it is 3-1 Dem voter registration in a heavily Jewish district. Hasn't gone Republican since Harding or something like that...

Bob Turner, the Repub, has been running a campaign against Obama, pure and simple...

He is winning.

Funny what happens to your evaluation of policy when you start getting that daily global intelligence briefing....

Which issues are those?

Remember when Sleaze said that he'd rather be a good one-term President than a mediocre two-term President? He isn't going be either.

The majority of Americans aren't listening to his bullsh*t spiel anymore. We are tired of all the lies, distortions, half truths, scare tactics, intimidation, corruption, bribes, kick backs, socialism, etc.

The MF lost me over ObamaCare and suing Arizona and then it only got worse.

If Obama ends up getting re-elected, it will be like Clinton's final term, where everything he vetoed gets passed by the Republican Congress, and stuff he wants to do gets ignored... and perhaps we'll throw an impeachment trial in just for fun. Just kidding.

I have very little doubt that both Senate and House will be Republican-controlled in 2012. For Obama to win might still be a loss. BUT... it will give him 4 years to save his legacy as the first minority president.

I really, really wanted to see him succeed for the good of the country. I was not (the real radio guy) Rush in wanting Obama to fail. Alas, he seems to have failed so far. I would vote for a third party candidate before I vote for Obama. Yes, I'd find a way to vote for a third dude here in Oklahoma :D

There was a TV clip last night of someone cornering Hillary on the issue....and you would have thought that they had asked if she had ever cheated on Bill!
BIG DENIAL!
But...I too have a sinking feeling she is just waiting for the right time to come to the rescue of the Demoncratic Party!
