FSU 24You stole my score.I guess I'll go 35-17. I do NOT understand why so many in the media think FSU is gonna be all that good.They lost to NC State,NC,and V Tech last year after we beat them and gave upp 44,37,28 in those losses.Add to that Fisher has no proven track record to rely on.

On the other hand we were struggling when we beat FSU lastyear,continued to struggle until Austin Boc returned,then had a strong finish.Bob also has a strong track record to rely on. Stoops> Fisher, no contest.

I feel the Sooners chances of coming away with the win on Saturday are strong to quite strong.

The more I think about it, here are the best arguments for the Sooners to come out on top:

1) No one is going to know a Stoops defensive scheme better than another Stoops. The advantage I feel is that Bob has the offensive tools in place to exploit Mark's defense.

2) We are not breaking in a new QB. FSU is still doing this and you'd better believe Venables want to do his best to create confusion for Manuel.

3) We put an absolute thumping on them last year and just about everyone from that game last year returns for the trip to Tallahassee. If we can put up a few quick scores on them and put that sense of impending doom in their minds, we'll be set.

In my mind, if the Sooners take care of the ball, have solid special teams play, and win the field position battle, they'll win by a comfortable margin.

I disagree.

Little brother plus whoever we face in the national championship are the only teams left that will pose any real threat to this OU team barring injury. Sorry but I feel this team is real special. The losses last year I think taught this team how to win. What I mean by that is that in both, the team didn’t hang its head after getting down early but instead still competed very hard. Hell, we caught A&M in the middle of a hot streak, got down by double digits, and probably would have won had Hanna caught the fake. Anyway, it’s just my opinion but last year was the “training \ he finally gets it” part of some movie where the hero becomes the hero. This year we suit up and kick the villains ***; all of them! Go gettem boys. Boomer Sooner.
