As long as you are in the stadium and on the OU side, it's all good.

Sumpin ain't right because I've had mine since only 2003 and only donate $100 each and I've got tickets for the last 4 years.

My parents have had tickets sicne 1998, and never donated until last year ($100, like you). Lo' and behold, last year was their first year to get Texas tix. Seems to be how the system works.

Sec 137 for me. I prefer the end zone and have always been put there

It's a point system. They are no secrets. They will explain how it works if you ask. It's a combination of how long you have had seats and your donation. Which is fair. People that have had tickets for forty years and donate each year should get tickets over someone that got theirs two years ago and do not donate.

Are the OU fans sections the same every year in the Cotton Bowl?

section 136 here. I'm just ecstatic to be on the OU side. Last year I got put in the overflow section in the UT endzone. Watching the game surrounded by those cheesepuffs was almost too much (until they fumbled that punt in the 4th and all left).

For several years I loved my seats. It is odd how the Dallas stadium was expanded and the seats I have became worse. Computers assess what your giving level and the quality of the seat received should be. But if the Terminator movie series has taught us anything, the rise of the machines will screw us. Not buying season tickets and not donating to the Sooner Club would give me more money to use on the secondary market to buy tickets, especially since for many games in Norman tickets are nearly given away by secondary sellers. And rarely or never buy bowl tickets from the University. Other than the national championship game you will both get into the stadium much cheaper and with a better viewing angle. But that is more because of the Bowl's detriment than OU's. Still, I am looking forward to where I have been placed this year. I wonder how much Sooner Club donations would decrease if the Texas game was not used as the carrot at the end of the stick for greater donation levels?
