Makin' It by David Naughton. This song went with the short-lived late 1970s ABC series starring Naughton, which was about a guy trying to make it in the disco business in New Jersey. I am not making this up - it really was in my head when I woke up this morning. Somebody please commit me to a psychiatric hospital.

You don't know how fortunate you are. Of course music has not gotten any better in the three decades or so since that song came out. The big hit "Last Friday Night" is catchy, but it gets tiresome after a while. It's too repetitive and the theme is silly - ok, ok, we get it - you had a wild time, now shut up!
