Could a one loss team from a Pac16 or SEC16 or whatever go to a NC game over an undefeated ACC team?
It seems that a lot of the talk about SEC v Pac v Big is about the quality of opponents being better versus easier. What I haven't heard talked about is that with more quality teams the undefeated seasons are even harder and that could cost a chance at the NC games for those conferences?
I understand that this won't matter when they finally go to a playoff but that is a few years away.

A strong Pac16/SEC16 one loss team will more than likely get in over a weak undefeated ACC team.

Would be similar to the current SEC vs the big east/acc.

2-loss LSU got in over 1-loss Kansas in 2007, so yeah, i'm thinking it's possible

it would take a crappy schedule and no hype though

if the ACC team was Florida State or Virginia Tech, i doubt it would happen

If the Big 12 goes away, what happens to their automatic bid, is it passed to one the other conferenses?

It goes to ND :) Actually, that's a very good question.

why would, say the Baylor, KS, ISU, KS st, MU, keep the big 12, a few to join, because they would have an automatic bid?
