The Sooners remain the top-ranked team in the land after the opening weekend of college football. Oklahoma defeated Tulsa, 47-14, Saturday night on Owen Field in front of a record crowd of 85,260 in Norman.OU was No. 1 in the Coaches Poll with 1,454 votes and increased its number of first-place votes to 43. Alabama, LSU, Florida State and Boise State rounded out the Top 5.
