I think the SEC looked pretty average this opening week:

Kentucky nearly losing to Western Kentucky
Aubie nearly losing at home
Georgia spanked by Boise in Atlanta
BYU beats Ole Miss in Oxford.

Think it was tempered a little this year because they wanted to honor Austin Box but I still really liked it. Everyone around us seemed to like it and to see Tom Wort lead the Sooners on the field and then look up to the sky was very touching. It had to be hard for the players since Box was such a part of the team but they got passed it and honored their friend. Thought they did a really good job.

I liked it. Didn't think it was average at all. I didn't feel all motivated by it though.

Remember when you kept tweeting that Ronnell Lewis was going to be ineligible? Swearing up and down that he wouldn't play? I find that funny.

Depends where you watch it. If you are at home eating Cheetos, it might seem average. If you are at the game, and see this thing with 85k fellow sooners, then you might think it deserves an Oscar. And it does.

Well I just watched at home at 5:30 am on my laptop and it gave me chills...tastefully done I thought. Everything about this year just screams "TEAM ON A MISSION".

I thought it was very well done. A tribute to Sooners of the past, including Box, that wasn't morose. The pledge was a cool twist.
So there wasn't a "theme song," no biggie IMO. This was what we needed for the team, the Box family and the fans.

Observation:

The stadium audio was extremely loud last night, much more than I can remember.

After watching RIPOUinsider's video, I absolutely love it and thought it was perfect to see from inside the stadium.

I said he was ruled ineligible, which means he CANT play. Then I said he was appealing it. He did. Then he was ruled eligible.

How can he we RULED eligible if he wasnt ineligible?
