Utah St. giving Auburn all they want. 14-7 U st.

sooner59
9/3/2011, 11:41 AM
I'm watching that. I wonder if Auburn was laughing at us last year when we had problems with Utah St...

badger
9/3/2011, 11:41 AM
Yeah, it's on ESPN 2 here in Tulsa (cox channel 721). Miami Ohio also had a chance to go up on Mizzou, but really, really bombed a field goal attempt. It was baaaaaad, and they were kicking from like the 20-something.

Utah about to score AGAIN.

if anyone deserves to get upset today, it's the Auburn Tigers

i checked out last night and missed that Baylor game completely. that's pretty awesome.

I don't know how I vBet, but when I was doing yahoo pickem earlier and saw the uber point spread, I was like... wait... these are the guys that frightened us at home. I better take Utah Aggie to beat the spread.

Not sure if Auburn won't have a TCU-like comeback, but this has to be humbling for the defending national champions. Welcome to the post-cam era.

Utes - 21
Awburn - 14 KO return for TD

badger

all that sec speed. the screen looked so blurry since his legs were moving so fast. ohhhh man his 40 time must be sub-3

badger
9/3/2011, 01:23 PM
The three to tune into are definitely Mizzou/Miami(oh) on Fox Sports (either FSN or FS+), Aubie/USU (Espn 2) and NW/BC (espnU).

Very close games. USU just took a 24-21 lead in the third.

Auburn ahead, crap.

BudSooner
9/3/2011, 01:33 PM
That was a nice throw.

To the sideline.

I gave Utah State 22 points in vBookie. Looks like some vCash is gonna get made on that game.

Utah State working on becoming the new Boise St. Up by 3 with 7 mins left and driving...

NathanStinson

Utah State driving gain. Need to punch it in the endzone here.

kevpks
9/3/2011, 01:55 PM
Auburn should have spent more money on the roster this season. Using amateurs isn't working too well.

NathanStinson
9/3/2011, 01:59 PM
Not sure why Utah State was trying to pound it up the middle on 3rd down and 7...

Good fake, but a bad throw, and I am pretty sure that was trapped... but maybe not on replay?

Blue
9/3/2011, 02:00 PM
What a call. Bwahahaha. Defend Natl champs going down to Mormon St.

JiminyChristmas
9/3/2011, 02:01 PM
Wow - fake after taking the delay of game. Ballsy.

Very Mad Hatteresque.

badger
9/3/2011, 02:01 PM
Amazing catch by Utah State that might keep the drive alive so long as the call is not overturned... but did he make first down yardage, even with the catch?

Aubie is in biiiig trouble regardless. Even if they didn't get the fourth down, Aubz is deep in its own territory and down late in the fourth quarter. Now, if Utah State retains possession, first and goal inside the 5, still up by 3.

badger

I remember them cheering for the "Aggies" during our USU game last year. I am sure they are internally struggling, wondering whether its better to show SEC loyalty or cheer for the upset.

Just like TCU getting chippy at the end, I fully expect one of the war eagles to take a swing or shove soon. How frustrating... Oh, the announcers are reminding us once again that they are the defending national champions.

You had to expect a drop off at Auburn this season. Both Cam Newton and Nick Fairley are counting against the SEC salary cap this year.

they are making a valiant drive, but is there enough time?

the arborists have to be breathing a sign a relief... no drunkies will try to toilet paper the dying trees now.

No TP, the drunkies will just go ahead and cut the trees down instead. Epic meltdown.

I have never understood the "defending" part, they were last seasons champions.
It is hard to "defend" when you have so much turnover season to season in college football but I guess with free agency all pro sports change players every years.

badger
9/3/2011, 02:15 PM
Oh Utah State, you can never finish your big upset attempts and then you'll end up with a losing record, won't you? aaaaagain.

OUHOMER
9/3/2011, 02:15 PM
MAN, i hate this for Utah.....but you got to finish

badger
9/3/2011, 02:16 PM
It was a good game even if the upset doesn't happen. I love that Kentucky struggled against Western Kentucky too. Almighty SEC my arse

badger
9/3/2011, 02:17 PM
Is this the part of the game where TCU throws the game losing interception to end the game on knees?

NO...

Utah State isn't the horrible team they were many years ago. They are a pretty respectable D-1 team now considering what they used to be.

Meh, after only losing to us by 7, they went on to have a losing record last year, mostly with WAC opponents.

But for so many years they were historically bad, like pre-Snyder K-State bad. They made North Texas and Arkansas State look good.

John-Hare Stadium... where the money flows freely to both players and officials who ignore offensive holding when the game is on the line.

Notre Dame. Haha. They're top 10!

badger
9/3/2011, 03:24 PM
I don't get to see domer on ESPN Goal Line, but since I'm adding vBookie events and most of these midday games just started, it's good background noise. NFL Redzone pwns it though

EJ Manual looks hot/cold for the Seminoles. Not too impressed. Yeah, it's early in the season. Actually some of the problem were dropped passes, but he's thrown some bad balls as well.

The West Virginia-Marshall game is in a weather delay, but Mountaineer fans may not be able to perform their normal celebration routine after a win today.
