Okay, I'm no innerweb genius, but I figgered out how to make this site an ad free experience. Pretty simple actually. Just use Firefox as your browser, install the free Ad block add-on for Firefox, and presto. No ads.

So there.

I turned off the 1st day, No big deal. The video deal at the top is not a big distraction. I just scroll down past it .

Is it gone from every page? Could you give some tips on that?

I wonder how many have signed up for the longhorn network from the ads on here

Phil

That's the beauty of it - you can't sign up for it because nobody carries it. And I haven't seen a single ad for LHN on here.

BTW, if you have more than 5000 posts, you should no longer see any ads except the right sidebar ad.

Then I was right. I was thinking about that tonight on the way home. Figured it was the thing to do.

I dont mind the ads because sites got to make money:greedy_dollars:, but ones that play audio unannounced are going to get me in trouble at work!!:distress:
