I listened to an interview of the CEO of Gibson Guitar Company yesterday on talk radio.
Gibson has been under attack by government agents for years.

CEO, Henry Juszkiewicz said that last week, Gibson's 3 stateside factories in Tenn, Arkansas, and Wyoming were raided by armed goverment agents. The government agents were looking for illegally imported wood for the guitars....probably the dark or ebony type wood used for the frets. The government agent confiscated wood and computer hard drives, among other Gibson private property. The activity obnviously brought production at the 3 Gibson sites to a halt. He noted that they are currently looking for wood illegally imported from India. But that Gibson has always imported it's wood legally, and has the appropriate import documents from the country of origin. Gibson has partnered with Greepeace in the ffort to preserve rare wood forrests across the globe.

This is not the first time that the government has raided Gibson sites. Juszkiewicz noted thatgovernment agents had raided one of his factories in 2009, where they were using wood imported from Madagascar. And he emphasized that despite legal efforts to regain Gibson's property, the government has not return the confiscated property from 2009.

***During last week's government raid, Gibson's CEO reported that one of the government agents (unidentified) told him..."you want to stop having this trouble? Move your company to Madagascar"!!!!

Move your business overseas???!!!!!
This is what we have to look forward to with an ever growing and powerful federal government!!!
