View Full Version : Need 3 Ball State tickets.

These are for a young couple at our church wanting to take their little boy to his first OU game. They are not flush with money so they will have to be pretty cheap. Any help would be appreciated.

Advice: Outside the stadium a few hours prior to kickoff. If they have a kid with them wearing OU gear, I guarantee that will melt the heartstrings of OU fans looking to dump extra tickets and the price will drop as well. I'd expect $10 each, maybe $15 for a game like Balllll Staaaaate.

What Badger said..I took my family of 4 to a game for a total of 40 bucks...purchased tickets about 20 minutes before kickoff

That's what I told them but they have never been to a game and are afraid to try it.

Backup plan: Hang out with the nice people of SF.com at the tailgate. Tell them to sell it to the kids as just being in Norman to be among Sooners, not to go to the game, but just to be in that atmosphere.

Then they can make their kids the happiest in the world when they inevitably find cheap tickets on gameday.

I guarantee them they will be able to find them..No way they couldn't...I don't even buy tickets ahead of time anymore..Especially this game, they will be everywhere

I keep telling them that but they have never been and are worried they won't find any despite my advise.
