I make no bones about the fact that Baylor's Robert Griffin III is one of my favorite players in the country. He's an incredibly talented player who just doesn't get the attention he deserves because he plays for Baylor, a school that doesn't exactly get a lot of national publicity. So it seems that Griffin has taken on some sort of plan to garner more attention this season as he makes a Heisman push.

We've already seen him plank some goalposts, and now he's showing off some of his incredible fashion sense. Griffin spoke to the media on Monday wearing Cookie Monster socks, which are much better than Elmo socks because, seriously, screw Elmo. Personally I'd have gone with Oscar the Grouch socks, but that fits my personality more than Griffin's I suppose.

Didn't want to start a new thread just for this, but after watching RGIII on Gamday this morning, I've gone from simply respecting his talent to being a fan. He was sharp, gave a lot of credit to his teammates, and is one he'll of a player.
