I am 30 years older than her and he would make me cry....Gotta <3 some Sam! .... My neice had his mom as a teacher a couple years ago..and it so happened she wore all her OU stickers/shirts/clothes and Sam showed up that day "Un-expected or announced" and he saw her in all this OU stuff..and asked her..."who is your fave team" she said OU and your my favorite player...and he took time to take photos with her and give her an autograph ....SO HE MAKES all girls cry young and OLD...<3 SAM

We usually wear tons of teal and yell for the Jags when we go to the games, but not this Thursday. I could never cheer against Sam, just not in my DNA. We were so lucky to have him, what a great role model. His parents should write a how-to-raise-a-great-kid book, seriously, I'd read it. They did something right.

Shouldn't be that big of a deal. Sam has been know to make entire football teams cry. Just ask the poke fans.

Amen to that sentiment. As a Longhorn, I can speak for many of my brethren when I say it's just impossible to hate the guy or even really to dislike him. He's a great ambassador for OU.

If you all haven't seen it yet, very cool article in this week's ESPN Mag on Sammie. Check between all the Michael Vick crap. It is pretty much a Michael Vick issue, but they did manage to give Sam a two-pager. And it's worth reading.

I'll post it if I see it on the internets somewhere.

So, I went and bought RAMS vs Cowboys tickets for me and the wife, and when I got them, I went on NFL.com and got her the #8 Jersey and matching Rams earings. On the card, I wrote the following: I know that come Oct. you will always remember this date when you will be wearing Sam, while watching Sam, from section 319 row 1 BOOMER SOONER & Happy Aniversary! I gave her the card and she teared up on me; now my question is, was it Sam or Me? LOL!
