On the Dan LeBatard show yesterday:
Barry recounted his last days at OU and how helpless he felt when his players were shooting each other, selling drugs and committing rape.
LeBatard was amazed at his story and compared what was then with what is now at UM.
Barry thinks if the coaches weren't involved in the UM situation, the players should be suspended or expelled but the program shouldn't be penalized. He thinks programs don't need to remind players that prostitution, drugs, etc is unacceptable...it is already a given. If it happens, the program can't do anything about it.
He also said he loves not having bosses any longer so "I can say whatever the hell I want." :pirate:
