Just curious

I'd love a thread split/copy (if possible) since so many good political threads start as non-political threads. A good earthquake thread is incomplete without RLIMC's political slant.

i know of another board where the easiest solution is to simply move it the very minute it goes political

after awhile - folks learn - and its easier on the mods

splitting could be interesting though. if there is valid discussion before it becomes an Obama hatefest, then you probably lose that discussion if you move it to the political board to purge the SO of politics
