Haven't heard much about him so far this year. Is he hurt? He isn't listed on the 2-deep from the July 15 depth chart. Just curious what the word on him is.

I don't know if it's related but he wasn't featured in the All-Access show at all. I thought that was curious.

He's fine. He's been interviewed by different people and he expects to play a lot.

Stoops asked him if he was going to hold on to the football-----not like he did in the spring

I thought that was Brandon Williams...

He may not have been featured, but he was shown on it.

I think he is still coming back from injury.

There may have been a quick shot of him in practice or something but I thought it was strange he didn't get to talk to the camera like the other guys.

Roy Finch officially became "water bug" in my household after the FSU game last year. We automatically call him "waterbug" when he runs the ball. Try it, I think you'll find it a nice fit for him.

I don't think he'll be the starter.

It was BW...Finch was seen in at least the first scrimmage tho, and he looked really good. he will be playing a lot this year.

Ummm... Roy Finch didn't play against FSU last year. Clay did though.

Roy is a special individual, I would not start Roy if I was Stoops, He is a weapon that
can be launched at any time...why would you show your hand before needed?

I don't remember which episode but they interviewed him. If you can the YouTube episodes look for a guy seated and wearing a gray sweater.

I don't think he'll be the starter.

Why not? I figured he would be since he had the majority of playing time last year behind Murray.

There was a shot of him in one of the episodes that aired on ESPNU. It showed him in front of the equipment office or something.

Last I heard, they were saying something about him moving to the slot. So, I don't think he'll be as much of a back this year.

I was going to ask if he was moving to the slot...

In one clip you see Broyles telling Finch about some WR moves and reads so I thought he would get time there...Hopefully some end arounds for him too.

Yep. He is correct. He was telling Roy to studder step to freeze the defense

Demarco lined up in the slot a few times as well. They want to move Finch around and get him in space. He's not going to stop being a RB.

He has to start since he is going to win the heisman this year and be the best ever

I thought I read last year that Roy was pretty shy so maybe he preferred to not be a focal point or interviewed for the all-access show?

They wanted to feature him on All Access but they didn't have cameras fast enough to capture his speed and elusiveness.

He was too short to get on the ride.

Landry is a great passer. I'd not let him throw any passes so we don't tip our hand too early in the season.

you may as well combine noel devine and teh QUENTIN GRIFFIN if you want to describe teh finch.

either way, nobody can touch us this year. too many weapons for the opposing d to worry bout.

LOVE that Baylor run. I can't decide if his superpower is an anti-gravity device, or if he actually can fly. Fun fun fun. I call his kind of runner a waterbug too.

He reminds me of a hybrid mix of Q and De'mond Parker. That thought should keep some Big 12 D-Cordinators up nights.

He reminds me of Barry Sanders mixed with Gayle Sayers with the sweetness of Walter Payton..cept Finch is better

The only thing that will consistently stop Finch this season is the endzone. We shouldn't even put him on the field in the other guys redzone or it will kill his yds/carry average.

He's like a Super Q. I can't wait to hear my 75 year old mom yell "Go Flinch! Go Flinch!"

This is when I decided that Finch had some moves and was going to be a great weapon the next few years. Favorite play from him so far.
