Tulsa QB G.J. Kinne averaged 280 yards per game passing last year with a high of 399. He was held under 200 only twice (at Notre Dame and at Houston). What would be a good result for the Sooners to hole Kinne to in the opener NEXT WEEK?

I say under 170 would be considered a success.

Depends on if OU can stop the run. If he throws for 350+ because they are playing catchup or can't run the ball then that would be fine. If he throws for 400+ w/ 3 INTs that's fine too.

Early in the season and there will be some busts...

Under 170 would be exceptional...under 250 would be a success...

But it also depends on how well the run the ball...that is my biggest concern...

All that matters is the number of points on the board. The less we give up to them, the better IMO.

I agree that the scoreboard will be the ultimate measure, but it would be concerning if Tulsa were able to run and pass for 300 to 400 yards. It would be foreboding of the worst kind.

I can see em getting 300 yards total...
