I am stealing the odds from a sports betting site on who will win the 2011 title (that's the 2012 BCS Title Game for any Pokes tuning in).

The payoff will not be till January 2012 for your bets, by which time I will likely be wished my best on my "future endeavors" by everyone so angry with how I've mismanaged this Sports Book :(

So, I'll at least get it started. You have till Aug. 31 to vVote via vBets with your vCash.

Well this is new.

Please don't spend all of your vCash on this event, because the payoff once again is not till next January.

Yeah I would rather wait and bet on individual games. I've only bet on one sporting event in my life and that was the last world cup. I was going to go Spain, but Netherlands paid out a lot more...I knew betting on a team that wears orange was a bad idea.

lol. Don't worry, I intend to do games, it's just that we're still stuck in the preseason doldrums at the moment, so bear with me till we're on the verge of an actual college football game and not just a rebroadcast of Tulsa/Memphis on CBSSports

once again poke boy, if you were to win the title this season, you would claim the 2011 championship, not the 2012 one. We won the 2001 Orange Bowl to win the 2000 championship... but hey, if you want to "wait till next season" be my guest :D

I have another question. What do we do with the vCash? Is it redeemable for spek or something like that, or is it just something fun to do?

something fun to do. sponsorship gifts likely died with the sponsorships, so my guess is that vBookie gifts are also not part of this new board setup. but whatev, maybe i'll drop some spek in if you acquire a million in vCash or something

I noticed your sig today Badger and saw that it has Whorn in it. Please tell me that when Sooners right that that they still pronounce it "horn". I nearly died laughing today when I found out that AnM prounounces it W-horn.

No, we aren't wh-eird and say cool "w-hip" or anything. The idea to kind of emphasize the "whor" in "whorn" not, be all "w-horn," because that's really... aggie. Yes, aggie. It's aggie.

This event closes soon. Get your crazy predictions in, then wait till January, hehe

They're "the field." Bet "the field" for your precious demon deacons.

By the way, today is the last day you can bet on this. You have till 11:30 p.m. We still have no takers on A&M, Boise, Stanford or FSU... so entirely possible that all of this vCash is going into my vPocket :D

WTF? No Wake Forrest????

Damn, this was a pretty crazy pick....**** I should have placed $500 on the Deacons just to have a winning record let alone having a shot at winning the conference! :D

Remember back when we all had 500 vCash and this was the first vEvent I posted? That's why the vBets are so tiny :D

Congrats to early vBettors, betting on one of the first vEvents posted to the new incarnation of vBookie.

:D That's also why the bet amounts are so little. Bawww, everyone had 500 vCash back then :D
