Longshot Sooners to make NFL roster

Here is your opportunity for some serious vCash. Through the help of the Sooner Football forum, I have been advised on which Sooners have the most difficult road to making an NFL roster. There is also an option for just making the practice squad.

Keep in mind that I am talking about any of the 32 NFL rosters, not necessarily the ones they are with currently. So long as they make the list of 53 on Sept. 3, you get your mega vCash.

I think you will all enjoy how I have chosen the odds for each.

You can vBet up until Aug. 29, which is the day before the initial NFL roster cuts (rosters need to be down to 80 on Aug. 30 I think). Winners will be announced Sept. 3, the day the final 53-man NFL rosters are hammered down.

Also, this is only my second attempt at one of these, so if I massively screw this up somehow, please forgive me.

EDIT: I originally did fractions for some of these guys (like 3.1 for Matt Clapp, since his OU number was 31) but it seems the system doesn't like that. Ah well. Bet away!

As the last option implies, "making a roster" does not include the practice squad. It's just the 53-man final rosters. If you think they'll all get on the practice squad instead, your option is #11.

Sadly, Eric Mensik was among six players released from Arizona yesterday, so he is an even longer shot now.

Hopefully the Ravens don't forget it was Brandon Jones who caught the winning TD pass in their game against the Redskins!

A Washington Post blog says that MK's time with the Redskins is going to end this afternoon. Will another team take a chance on him this season, or will he have to take a season off and try to come back healthy next year?

Not much is being said about Cameron, other than how tight the competition is for Charger receivers. 8 men for 2 spots, reportedly.

Things seem to be looking very promising for Jonathan Nelson in St. Louis.

The deadline to be down to 80 is today, so expect more cuts to come in within the next few hours or so.

I am gonna give guys a day to clear waivers and see if any of them make practice squads before paying out. Some teams haven't made their announcements public yet and haven't updated the rosters on their websites.
