Huge loss for OSU. Huge gain for Arkansas. He's trying to get a waiver to play in 2012.

That guy can flat out rake! It's an absolutely huge loss for OsU and a great coup for Arkie if they can get him eligible to play this season.

It does make one wonder. It's not often you see a player of his caliber transferring this late in his college career.

We know it has nothing to do with playing time, that's for sure.

I can't remember if it has been mentioned here, but Randy McCurry transferred as well...

And... Jason Hursh, a talented arm returning had Tommy John over the summer and is out for the season.

WOW. Big loss.

I can't remember if it has been mentioned here, but Randy McCurry transferred as well...

And... Jason Hursh, a talented arm returning had Tommy John over the summer and is out for the season.

Another WOW. Although McCurry wasn't as dominate after his injury as he was before, it's stilll a big loss.

I thought that the McCurry transfer was only a rumor as I still see him on our roster.

Anyhow, Phillips transferred because we don't have a Criminal Justice Degree Program, and yes it is a monster loss for us

Please don't believe the Criminal Justice major story. He found a major that Arkansas had that OsU didn't and is using that to try to get the NCAA to grant a waiver so he won't have to sit out a year. Dane isn't going to graduate college until after a career in professional baseball. At that point in time he can go where ever he wants.
