No, he's not no Bob Seger. He's actually good. I might have to make this one.

i saw him when he was in OKC a while back. he's really good, but the show seemed a little ADD and disorganized or something

That's why Bob sold out the BOK and this is at the Osage Casino. Fags.

:D

Seger sold out the BOK because there's a bunch of panty waist homos who still go "take them old records off th shelf..." Meh.

I got the fire down below, right ****ing here Pat. Everybody knows all the talent is in the small venues. The ignorant masses fill up places like the BOK for POS shows.

Dude, I've seen Santana in at least 3, and maybe even 4 different decades. I was at a concert at the Pima County Fairgrounds in the 70's when a bunch of Hell's Angels beat the **** outta a bunch of folks - and Carlos was going "peace and love brothers, peace and love, c'mon, this isn't what we're about" as people were getting bashed by logging chains and ****. Good times...

I like me some Santana.

Same. I've seen him in the late 70's and mid 80's but not since then. Supernatural was awesome. If you can come close to wearing out a CD....that one was it. We have the DVD Concert of it too. The Wife loves that one. She had a huge smile when I gave her the tickets for her Birthday today.

No, he's just got poor taste in music I guess, or maybe he got some free tix and momma was outta town? How the **** should I know?

Did you go? Why? Why not? Expound, or STFU.

if you hate Seger, you hate America :(

C&CDean

I don't hate Seger. I think he's meh. Big diff.

The only song of his you mentioned, I don't even listen to. He has so many better ones even though that is probably his most famous. You can think he's key but the rest of us are allowed an opinion as well.

You misunderstood mjcpr...He likes to have his butt crease pounded by a guy.

I mentioned two of his songs Pat. Who the hell said you couldn't have an opinion? Geez.

To me, in my opinion, Seger's voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard. Somewhere between Michael McDonald and Springsteen - neither of which I care for either.

This guy? He good muh****ah:

I wish Buddy would just play...he plays for 1:15 on the nose and spends half the show playing around with licks from other guitarists etc. Buddy can wail..he's one of the best ever. Hendrix said that Heaven is listening to Buddy Guy play guitar. I just wish he would do it. I dont need a 15 minute long version of Hoochie Coochie man when the show is only an hour fifteen long. I shouldn't complain too much I guess, the man is in his early 70s.

Drowning on Dry Land and Lousiana Blues are awesome live.

I'm going to the Bedford Blues fest to see him again. That will make 8 times for me.

Feels like rain is my favorite Buddy song. I also like his cover of Mustang Sally. I've never seen him in a festival setting, only in clubs, and he rocks the effing house in a small venue.

And what's the deal with John Mayer?

I've got a buddy who's a guitar wrangler for him, so I got to sit next to the stage in the service area. Pretty much optimum if you want to listen and watch. And I was highly unimpressed.
Did I see him on a bad night? I'm still open minded, but didn't get the guitar-hero hype about this guy.

Seger screwed up when he promoted Chevy. :D

Like a C*CK is all I could hear everytime they played that damned Commercial.

Hey Step? As long as it's just the butt crease....there's no Homo?

I dont get the John Mayer stuff...but those who play seem to be impressed with him. Just not my style.

Buddy will leave your ears ringing in a small venue thats for sure. He about tore the roof off of Billy Bobs years ago.

I play and have always been impressed by Mayer's accoustic riffs. I think part of it is because of what he was doing at such an early age.

I haven't really listened to much of his latest stuff, but the electric guitar I heard him putting out I was less enthused about.

I liked him OK until he decided he was the next greatest thing and I heard him say Clapton was passing the torch to him.

Saw Buddy and B.B. and Lucille at the Midland Theater in downtown KC last year. 8th row in a small venue. It was gasmic.
