In the public interest I pledge to not post negative attacks against other candidates. I will endeavor to not engage in name calling. Instead I will post information why you should vote FOR Ron Paul.......not why you should vote against another candidate. I know it sounds crazy but here goes.

Reason #1 to vote for Ron Paul:

I wouldn't call that reason #1 but there are many.

- End the Federal War on Drugs
- End costly overseas military operations (Iraq War, Afghanistan war, occupation of South Korea, etc.)
- End nation building (somewhat the same as the previous)
- Cut the Department of Energy
- Cut the Department of Education
- Repeal healthcare reform
- Supports the Fair Tax

Best way is to let people see for themselves.

I feel this is the number one reason because lack of control of our money supply is the biggest threat to the viability of our country's economy. An unaudited and uncontrolled Fed finances out of control government spending through ponzi scheme programs such as the asset purchase described in the video. Another is the quantitative easing programs which are designed to create an artificial demand for our debt(I.e. Treasury bonds).

All of these programs add to the debt future generations will have to pay off. They also destroy returns for savers and facilitates reckless spending by our government.

It is the number one threat to the country's economic stability.

IN for sure, but it is amazing how the main stream media is ignoring him. Also amzed at how easy the general puplic will listen or vote for someone because of herd mentality

I'd vote for anyone who I thought could bring some sanity and common sense back to our government. Unfortunately, the greed, ethical bankruptcy, corporate lobbying, and entitlement mentality have put our country onto the verge of collapse.

Our government is a fishing line bird's nest that I do not think can be untangled. The only fix is to cut off the line and start over. But I'm afraid our country is unable to adapt and make the drastic changes that are necessary to put the U.S. back on stable ground. We have politicians more concerned with blaming the other party than trying to make sound choices. We have an economic system that is rightly described as a ponzi scheme in the link you provided, and we are facing perhaps the biggest change our society has ever faced -- that being the end of our fossil fuel based system-- which will happen sometime in the next 15-50 years.

I hope I'm wrong but I really believe that if our country continues to only elect "republicans" and "democrats" nothing will ever change. The corrupt system will continue until collapse with the avg. American taking the full brunt of the pain.

Companies like Enron and AIG are just a microcosm of our whole system. The ones at the top have no ethics and will sell out the masses for their own benefit.

Well, hope everyone has a good week :)

We're off to a good start. The Birthday Money Bomb raised $1.7 million. He's on track to doing much better this go around. Last time during the first quarter, he raised $600,000. This time he raised that in a single day.

I've never donated before but the past two money bombs I've donated. The good thing is this is it's the people doing it.
