Are no longer a permitted subject on the South Oval. Post your political threads over at our new political forum ObamaFest 2012. I have moved a bunch of threads over there, but there are just too many political threads on this forum to track every one down and move it right now. If old political threads get bumped, or if anyone brings a particular thread to my attention or that of a mod, it will get moved.

More users didn't want a separate forum for politics than did Jon. Now that we have one, who wants to bet it blows, or that folks will still try and post political crap on the SO?

Good on nixing copy cat threads which were the equivalent of spam. Politics? I'll reserve judgment on whether it makes sense to split it. I aint complaining, I appreciate all who make these boards possible.

Excessive a-holery and oversensitive people are two that we have probably all been guilty of from time to time. There's about a million more reasons though.
