It's way too hard. I agree LOL

Rufus, Rocky, I guess but don't we all owe it to Torrance?

Not once, but twice in 2000.

@ A&M and then in the OB.

Edit: Torrance Marshall, sorry PT.

DeMarco Murray

It's tough.

I'll go with DeMarco. Through the adversity he never quit. Always came back stronger. A few plays remembered........going up for a reception 20 yards downfield, knowing he was gonna get pasted and still coming down with the ball. I know, it's an expectation for a Sooner.
Ok, how 'bout the flip he did going into the endzone at he got hit? Or the tippy-toe routine the last 5 yards for a score in the Te**** game last year? Lots of critical 3rd down conversions as well as KO returns, punt returns, etc.

Honorable mention to Jeremy Beal. He wasn't the fastest or the biggest but had a nack for making big plays.

3rde place......about 50 other Sooners, including Guiterrez.

5-0

Does it have to be a Sooner? Because you didn't specified that.

I KID!!

-AD, always held my breath, "what is he going to do now?"
-Sam, expecting him to be perfect, and he always went a little beyond those expectations.

Sam Bradford, Heisman Winner, Took the team to the BSC MNC, Won Rookie of the year as a QB in the NFL.

Adrian takes Second Place and third goes to Jason White for replacing Starter Nate Hybl after Nate was injured in a OU-texass game in 2001. Jason went on to try and defend our National Championship of 2000 he had consecutive anterior cruciate ligament tears and reconstructive knee surgeries on both knees during the 2001 and 2002 seasons. In 2003 he went on to win the Heisman Trophy as well as post numbers that made him a Sooner Legend and with all of his problems...he still got a workout with the Kansas City Chiefs. Jason is the example of a guy who will never quit and IMO is a lock for 3rd place. Amazing guy....all 3 on my list are amazing.

There are so many others that deserve mention but those three all had injuries and were still able to overcome them....unfortunately Jason's didn't allow him to go on to the NFL.

Tommy Harris is my #4 and Roy Williams is #5. #6 is is Gerald McCoy, #7 is Torrance Marshall and #8 Is Mark Clayton.

Tennessee too. In fact, I remember an interview w/ Fisher on the day that JW hung 'em up in which he stated that if the season had started that day that JW would've made the team as the 3rd QB.

I never heard that story. I do remember reading that Jason's knees were so bad he couldn't even get through a full drill of practicing 5 and 7 step dropbacks at Tennessee. I always wondered why Jason came back for a medical 6th year after winning the Heisman. After hearing that story I figured he knew his knees would not allow him to play in the NFL, so why not 1 last year at OU.

Onyenagetchya ? :)
Coolest name anyway. (Even if I can't spell it. ) Either him or maybe Antwone Savage. Savage was a good name too. :)

But my real favorite player would have to be Torrence Marshall. He won the AtM game for us and owned FSU when we played them. A total stud!
And seeing him win player of the game in the NC game was nice. You could tell from his reaction it meant a lot to him. It was well deserved.

Just impossible to pick. Rocky, Teddy, J.D., Mark Clayton, Manny, Quentin, DeMarco, Jason, Sammy, Josh, Steve Owens - nope, can't do it. Just too many good ones and good young men to boot.
