I've looked and dont seem to see any progress reports on his injury. Is the consensus still 8 weeks?

I got optimistic when Stoops said he had it and just shot it up, but I'm guessing they want him to heal properly for the long haul.

I'd love to have his leadership out there for FSU.

Stoops said he wasn't even going to talk about it until 6 weeks had passed. He said they would examine it then and see where he is at in the process. I assume during the bye-week they will take a look and see what we are working with. I doubt there will be any news about this until after Tulsa.

Stoops was very clear with reporters after it happened: "Don't ask me about it for 6 weeks". I can guess what Stoops' response will be when some doofus starts hounding him about it early.

Lewis did tweet about a week back that he would be back for FSU. Like the above posts, we'll probably know after Tulsa.

I'd love to see him back early. I just have a funny feeling he's gonna pull an Albert Pujols and heal up 3 weeks ahead, and be back out there for FSU.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. You're going to have to shoot him to keep him off the field during the biggest game of the season.

anyone know how he is staying in shape. i would thnk after 6 or so weeks he would lose a lot of his endurance. Can he ride a bike? Is he swimming a few miles a day?

He has a twitter? I explicitly remember him saying he didn't during Big 12 media days.
