Of the two choices presented, Coke is the winner, but I've always preferred Diet Coke to Coke Classic. However, not only did pregnancy force me abandon my most preferred beverage, Guinness, but I decided Czarina Jr. doesn't need to be exposed to aspartame either. So I've switched to Coke Zero, limiting myself to maybe one or two cans a week.

We generally drink as little soda as possible because it's not good for you in any amount. But I prefer Coke Zero and Pepsi MAX to everything else regardless of calories or sweeteners. They just taste better.

Mexican coke is made with sugar instead of corn syrup. It is also not quite as carbonated. It also still comes in real bottles.

Other than that I don't know of any difference.

If it is in a can or bottle, I prefer Pepsi....but if it is in a glass with ice, I prefer Coke.

I don't know what it is about Coke in the can/bottle form, but when I drink that I swear I can feel the enamel eroding on my teeth. I think you need the ice to dilute Coke a little bit.

Both however are inferior to Dr Pepper.

I was a Coke girl all the way. I took one of those Coke vs. Pepsi taste tests at the mall back in the '80's and chose Pepsi - I was horrified at myself.

I don't drink much soda now, but when I was pregnant with my 3-year-old, I craved Pepsi in a bad way.
