Then my girlfriend's brother got engaged and set the wedding date on September 17th... and asked me to be a groomsmen...

Luckily the wedding is at noon. Going to leave immediately after the reception, drive from Orlando to Tallahassee to make it just in time for the kickoff.

Have a friend with FSU season tickets. He is sitting in the section right below the visitor's section. You'll have to watch out for me, since I will be right over the border in enemy territory.

Just finished finalizing my travel arrangments on Wednesday. We are flying into Pensacola Wednesday night and will be staying on Pensacola Beach Thursday and Friday. Headed to Tallahassee Saturday for the game obviously and have a room reserved that night at a cheap Motel 6 or something.

Driving back to Pensacola at the crack of dawn Sunday morning to catch a flight back to D/FW. Should be lots of fun, cannot wait. Boomer Sooner!

I just talked to the hotel and they only provide a shuttle to the airport but they will call you a taxi. Apparently the hotel is only 2.1 miles from the Stadium so if worse comes to worse it can be walked quite easily.

It's tough to get a group together for a road game on the game day. Friday night, not so much...

I'll never for get the time Mr and Mrs Veritas took the Colleyvillesooner's to The Sidetrack Bar in beautiful Lincoln, NE.

No, I hear ya. We are planning on driving over for the end of Gameday, then back to the hotel for lunch and to get ready. Thinking about hanging out pre game south of the stadium around The Palace Saloon. Would be tough for my dad to make the walk there then up north and back.

Just FYI to anybody who doesn't have tickets yet. I hopped on craigslist after chatting with Sam and found a pair for 100.00 a piece. A sooner fan who just couldn't make it. I thought that was awesome! Just thought I'd share just in case anyone was planning ongoing but didn't have their tickets yet. All need now is a room and I'll be in business!

Take Tennessee street turn L on Stadium Drive...INTEL has it that there will be parking on the right side there.
