...it was kind of fun to see what once was.

Perhaps I'll look around for a copy of WordPerfect and DBase III.

I actually use Word 97 and Excel 97 at work.

Yea, I'm submitting resumes to other companies as a .docx.

How are you saving docs as .docx in Word 97?

Hey, I still use Lotus 1-2-3 at my work every day. Most people have to see it to believe it.

Wordperfect is still a pretty viable program.

I can remember when I first downloaded Office '97, back in the day. It took hours to load on my old machine.

My Mac loaded it last night in just over a minute.

That was dorkily fun to watch.

Just come to my office. We still use WordPerfect. Now that I am used to it, I like it better.

Mid, I think the legal industry held onto it more than most.

Says the lawyer.

I use it too!

I know it has only been 14 years, but does it look like Microsoft has worked out all the bugs in '97?

I can tell you this...if they did, they put them all back in 2007.

I hate Office after 2003...I personally think that was the best working version.

Had 2010 for a while (or was it 2011?). It seemed to be okay, but Outlook was still a moody monster.

My Office for Mac works really good and seems more intuitive. At least the Excel and Word.

I have my old 64 from back in the day...it still works!!! I haven't tried the IIe since I aquired it about 10 years ago from an old elemntary school. They had about 5 of them in storage. The one I took still worked tho when I got it.

OT and Lemonde Stand are the games I first played back in elemntary school.
