NORMAN -- The University of Oklahoma’s Meet the Sooners autograph session is moving due to excessive heat. The event will take place on the same time and day as previously announced, 10 a.m.,-noon this Saturday, but will now be held under the grandstands on the east and west side of Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

The General Public line will form at Gate 5 beginning at 7 a.m. The line will flow under the Asp Avenue Parking Facility on the west side of the stadium.

The Sooner Kids Club can begin entering the stadium at 7 a.m., through Gate 7. That group is required to check in at the Sooner Kids Club table to receive a membership package. They will then move to the lines under the stadium.

The offense and assistant coaches will be on the east of the stadium, while the defense, special teams and head coach Bob Stoops will be located on the west side.

To facilitate faster movement in the lines and to create more space under the stadium, the only players available this year will be those who have played in at least one game at OU. The coaching staff also will be available.

Patrons will be permitted to bring water into the event and water also will be on sale inside and outside the stadium during the event. Concessions stands will not be open. Restroom facilities will be available.

Fans are reminded to hydrate well before the event.

Parking is available in university lots.

Meet the Sooners is open to children ages 14 and younger and each child may be accompanied by a maximum of one adult.
