I was looking at stats the other day and noted that OU gave up just over 21points a game last year. With the offense we run (which is off the field quickly whether it succeeds or not) and the high number of defensive snaps that our defense will be on the field, is it even possible to hold teams to under 18 points per game?

Would a great defense be around 14 or 15 per game? Especially with the offensive talent we will see from A&M and OSU and Baylor and Missouri and others.

In this conference, I'd like to see it trimmed to 16 or less.

Man... If a defense in OUr league can hold under 20 I think it's good, considering how the offenses will be pretty stout

The PAC-12 can now call the "BIG-XII" soft on D. :)

It's kind of weird when we aren't known for smashmouth football anymore, but now the big10 is.

A win is a win, but it's kind of deception first, blocking/tackling second.
