This was not game worn, but has a fun story. Basically, Jason White had just torn his second ACL and the student stores were marking down the #18s to like $15 or so because there was little hope that JW would try to make a comeback. Lo and behold, my $15 jersey is once again $60 as he earns his Heisman :D

One thing about Jason and autographs --- it's automatic for him it seems. When I was getting a ball for Father's Day together, I actually got my little girl "Excuse me Mr. _____ May I please have your autograph for my dad?" out with Billy and Steve. With Jason, he started signing even before I called him "Mr. White." :D

I have a piece of the old benching from the stadium...still had dried gum on the bottom of the seats...seats 14, 15, and 16....

Interesting, and timely topic. The OU Club of Houston is planning our annual golf tournament for Sept. 10. This year we are raising money to fund a scholarship in Daryl Hunt's name. The event includes a live and silent auction. So, I have a load of signed items for the auction (balls signed by Stoops, Switzer, L. Johns, T. Lewis, R. Broyles, hope to have some flags signed by all of those guy plus G. Cumby and A. Peterson). For those who may be interested, I'm trying to find a way that out of town folks can bid on silent auction items. Check ouclubofhouston.com for details on the tournament. It also includes my e-mail (J. Teague). Some of these things are pretty cool -- a ball signed by Cumby and Peterson, both wore #28. Hopefully, I'll have a more complete list of auction items on the site pretty soon.

Got a Dewey Selmon game-worn jersey, signed by his brothers and a few other Sooners; I'll post a picture soon. Also got a bunch of signed magazines and what nots of recent Sooner greats. Thought about donating the jersey to the school for their OU exhibit at the history museum a few years ago or to the Switzer Center but I decided to hang onto it; one of the few things I have that my day gave me. Boomer Sooner!!

Not game-worn, but I have a ball signed by the '85 championship team. Sadly, the ball is cracking badly, as you can see by the pics, but the names are still legible - you can still see Barry Switzer, Spencer Tillman and The Boz, for example.

It was a birthday present to me from my sister who was a freshman at OU at the time while I was 9. I didn't fully appreciate what I had just opened while my dad was soooooooo jealous. I get it now... :)

Torrance Marshall Game-Worn Unwashed 2000 Away Jersey Worn Against Texas A&M. This is the jersey worn when he made the ridiculous interception off the hands of Mark Farris and returned it for the go ahead touchdown in the 4th quarter. One of the most memorable plays from the 2000 season. This jersey is gross, it's covered with sweat stains, but it's badass to have in the collection. Video link provided below pictures!
