Vacate! Vacate! Vacate!

And yes, I know this technically means only the wins didn't happen, but frankly, I'd like to imagine that the entire season disappeared.

Works for me.

I had heard months ago that we might be a scholly short for the upcoming season, which turns out to be true.

Wouldn't bother me if we just vacated the whole Jeff Capel era. I am grateful for getting to watch Blake though.

I vacated it and the next season long ago.....

So I am ready to see OU basketball again for the 1st time in 3 years....

The only thing I'd vacate from 2010-11 is Felton J. the Third. The team had a lot of adversity, turnover and off-court issues with the NCAA to overcome and yet from every account out there, they worked hard, showed up to early morning practices early and were very self motivated to prove that while they weren't the strongest team in the Big 12, they were the hardest working.

So what if we lost a lot. They were much more likable than some in the 2009-10 group.

Thought last year's team was a lot more likeable and they played hard which you didn't see out of some of the players in the non-season.

They only vacated the wins. We went 0-18 that year.

I'm sure the Cade enjoys hearing this after all the blood sweat and tears he poured into this program for four years.

*hug* for Cade. It's not his fault that Felton blew his top tier recruiting budget on wtf Mickie D's AAs and players that didn't pan out for whatever reason.

At least Cade will have those first two glory years with BG as a teammate.

You can't have both...

Oh it happened, and I believe our "official" record for that season is now 0-18.

I know 09-10 didn't happen, but you would not BELIEVE how much Jack it took to make it possible. I can accomplish many great things through the power of blackoutdrunk.

Word. I'm never knocking winning again (so long as there's no cheating to go with it).

It's a big huge world of basketball at this level. Hundreds of teams, thousands of recruits, runners and coaches, so many ways to mess up and miss postseason in this era.

You go, Lonnie. If I can't make it to Norman, I promise to up the Tulsa area Nielsen rating for your games :)
