That's gotta make the whorns & their network feel small!

Larry Birdine never seemed to be that bad.

Larry Birdine never seemed to be that bad.

Except when he said Matt Leinhart was overrated, and said USC's offense was average. right before the Orange Bowl.

If there was ever a player who had a sure future in broadcasting when his playing days are done, it would be Travis.

I couldn't remember thanks.

I have a feeling that if we had, Leinhart would have had the game of his life that night.

Larry Birdine never seemed to be that bad.

This is preseason, not pre national title game calling out smack.

Anyone catch this quote?

With about 30 reporters crowding around Bob Stoops, Travis Lewis said

"Bob's like Kim Kardashian" :D

I think everyone would have loved Larry if he backed up the talk when it mattered. Same goes for Travis. Talk all the trash you want, but you better fricken win.

That article is hilarious -- the Travis Lewis network. Can you imagine if Lewis and Gerald McCoy had been there together? I saw McCoy earlier this summer on one of the ESPN segments and he was cracking them up -- both of them let you know they are Sooners all the way!

Travis didn't say anything that would give us any problems. He was just having fun.

They can't seriously get riled up over Travis Lewis Network can they?

They can't seriously get riled up over Travis Lewis Network can they? http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y86/OUmom/smilies/coffee.gif We're talking about a football program that starts a fight during warmups at the Cotton Bowl because one of our players ignored a hand shaking attempt. This is the kind of mindset we are dealing with.

Travis can talk it and back it up. He was going in on the whorns and about picking the right school. Now he has 3 rings looking for 2 more this year. KaBOOM Bitch!!

This is the kind of stuff Mike Leach was so good at. Saying the most off the wall stuff that gets under the enemies skin (Tejas), but they just can't take him so serious as to really be pissed at him. :D
