Hunter Wall went to my HS lol. I think he did throw one pretty bad *** long TD. But hands down it has to be Sammy B. The throw to Manny Johnson in the 2008 taco tech game. One-handed high-stepping to the end zone. Swag.

You missed at least one OU quarterback in that list and I am going to be among the posters to seek out and find the one you missed!

http://grammar.about.com/od/alightersideofwriting/a/PolePollglossary.htm

The noun pole refers to a long staff (for example, "fiberglass pole" or "totem pole") or to either extremity of an axis of a sphere ("North Pole"). The noun poll most often refers to the casting of votes in an election or a survey of public opinion. Likewise, the verb poll means to record votes or to ask questions in a survey.

I guess you could count that throw as "in the Red Zone" since it ended there.

I think the point of this pole :D is that OU doesn't throw the fade too much in the Red Zone.

Jason White threw the best fade route in the Stoops era. It wasn't only accurate but the throw was always textbook pretty.

Edit: I didn't realize the throw had to be a Red Zone fade.

THIS. The Great Caretaker may not have been the most accurate QB, but he could put that fade pass down on top of the back pylon. All the receiver had to do was make sure he stayed in bounds.

Ha Fletcher was still around in '99? Who was the other QB that came in after Moore got "knocked into the wall" in the '98 OSU game?

Jake Sills, I think.

Today I was going through a box of old tapes and popped in the Bowling Green film because it wasnt labeled. Thats when I realized all over again that JW threw just about the best fade you are ever gonna see.

Jason White. IMO, he threw every route as good or better than anyone ever to put on the OU jersey.

Jason White threw the best fade consistently. The single best fade thrown in the Stoops era was probably Jones to Stills last year against Texas. It was at least at the best in recent memory.

See thats what makes this pole teh awesome. Is it one pass? or is it consistency? I thought JW had the best fade consistently, but that one, Hybl's, and Landry's in the OU/tx game were classics.

I'm voting ENA, he may not have had the prettiest fade, but he still has the kick-assesst nickname, and therefore always gets my vote in any pole. :D

Tough call, but Ill go Jason White with Heupel a close second.

I don't think Hybl is getting enough love on this one, he wasn't as successful as some of these other guys, but he threw really nice fade passes.
