FLINT, Michigan — Former Flint Southwestern and University of Alabama star running back Mark Ingram was involved in a car accident at 1 a.m. Friday, according to a report on nola.com.
Ingram, and his girlfriend, reportedly collided with an 18-wheeler in or near Huntsville, Ala. says the report.
Ingram — who was drafted as the 28th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints — his girlfriend, and the semi-truck's driver Paul Clewis, left the scene uninjured. Ingram's 2008 two-door Infiniti was towed from the scene of the accident, according to the report.
The report says that neither drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision.
