announced today as well.

Pretty weak overall although the 76 tourney could be good and a trip to Cincy.

76 tournament teams..

the other seven teams in the field are Boston College, New Mexico, Saint Louis, Santa Clara, UC Riverside, Villanova and Washington State.

I like it.

Outside of the tourney, a pretty easy schedule. Makes up for a tougher than normal Conference slate.

Seems pretty easy, but I don't know what our team will look like this year so I don't know if I like it yet lol

yea, me either. Only 12 games, which is lower than average.

6 easy ones. 3 decent matchups and the 3 tourney games.

I like the tourney, pretty sure it gets some decent tv coverage, and their are some good teams in it. Guess we'll just have to see what Lonny puts together till then.

as much as i'd love to see our guys on ESPN taking on Duke, UNC, Pitt, UConn, et al, I know we're not at that level at the moment. We need confidence building non-conference boosters at this point. This might not get us into the top 25 or prepare us for deep tourney runs, but we are probably not going to get there immediately regardless.

Hopefully, having solid performances against weak opponents will help us have solid performances against conference foes. At least we'll know what it feels like to run plays correctly and successfully early-on in the season, so perhaps we'll be in the habit of doing the same when we face tex, osu, a&m, etc.

12-0!!! :)

I would be perfectly happy with this, seeing how the past two seasons were 13-win seasons and 14-win seasons

Felton J. the Third (just rolls off your tongue, doesn't it?) had four and five conference wins in those seasons. I think Lon could easily do that, and on the back of a dirt cheap non-conferences schedule? POSTSEASON HERE WE COME :D:D:D:D:D:D

by far the weakest OOC we've had in a long time.

we've earned it and Joe C seems to be there to help out an ailing program, i guess if padding W's is what it's all about.

i'll put the O/U at about 7.5 W's OOC.

Goodbye RPI.

I'd be more than a little surprised if the RPI came into play for the upcoming year. Normally I'd be in favor of a stronger slate, but not this particular year. These guys need the confidence that comes with a few more wins.
