First five minutes recap:

OU receives the kickoff and runs it back for a score, answering one major question mark for the 2011 season (who will be a star KOR?).

Up 7-0, the next question is answered as OUr PK boots the hell out of the ball and it soars over the outside wall of the stadium for a touchback.

Tulsa tries to get cutesy on their first play and GJ Kinne throws a pick-6. Even after that start, he's still better than what he left Texas with at QB. :D

Ronnell Lewis runs down the next kickoff and hits the TU returnman so hard, he coughs up the ball into the waiting arms of Jamell Fleming in the endzone for another TD.

Now, before TU could seemingly even blink, they're down 21-0. The manage to get three plays in before Javon Harris flies in and sacks the punter simultaneous with catching the deep snap for a safety. Cole Way's first punt is moments later with no pressure this time, and Ryan Broyles takes it to the house to add insult to injury.

Leading 30-0, the Sooner D brings in a few n00bs to tone the azz-whoopin down a bit... but the coaches forgot to tell backup safety Sam Proctor that. He punishes a TU running back on a screen pass and the ball pops up and into the hands of Corey Nelson for a score.

After another three-and-out, trailing by 37, TU finally gets a punt off and out-of-bounds... and OU sends in the second team offense to mop up. :D

I'm pretty sure you mean first offensive play if the season. Since we are playing an up tempo Tulsa team, I wouldn't be surprised to see us call a run play to establish the run game early.
