Well we got our 4 star QB, just not the one we have discussed since the beginning of the year. I like the pick up especially since all the latest news from Gunner is that IU is close to getting a commit from him. It also helps that he decommitted from the ags.

Looks like the kid has some wheels (22 touchdowns rushing his Jr. year). He had over 1600 yards passing which isn't bad either. However, he had 11 passing touchdowns to 8 interceptions. Not so good, but I trust Heupel.

Well, the coaches like to get 1 QB in every class, and they obviously thought that this kid had a good chance of contributing if they offered him a scholarship and kept recruiting him even after he committed to A&M.

And the team could always use depth on the lines, but you need depth at QB, too.

GG was more highly rated coming out of high school with 2 state titles and all. He's still got all the tools. His problem is in his head.

I don't think we need another QB for a couple of years.

I think you keep taking at least one a class, we haven't seen Bell, Thompson or Knight play a down at OU yet.

QB thins out occasionally due to transfers, injuries, guys not being as good as they were in high school. I don't think they ever want to run into 2006 again and not have a ready backup QB, even though that year went pretty well all things considered.
