I tried making a 5-7 joke to the resident * fan I work with. He worked with me in Texas as well when I was surrounded by *.

He was buying more lunch tickets (a chef makes buffet-style lunches at my work):

"Hey, don't give him too many of those tickets, he only needs 5-7!"

He didn't get the joke...I need to come up with better ones as the season draws closer.
