Casey Anthony Reportedly Plans to Use False Name, Disguises Upon Release From Jail


Casey Anthony will likely wear disguises and live under an assumed name at a secret location after she is released from prison this weekend, the Chicago Sun-Times reports, quoting a source close to her legal team.

Anthony was found not guilty last week of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, but was convicted of lying to authorities about the child's 2008 disappearance.

She was sentenced to one year for each of four counts of lying to investigators, but will be released on Sunday because of time already served in jail.

The verdict touched off a wave of national outrage and the paper reported the unidentified source said she believes, "Casey really does not completely understand the depth of hatred out there."

"She's fully aware of the various death threats, of course, but she thinks that's isolated to relatively few nutcases," the source told the newspaper.

Once Anthony arrives at the secret location where she will live, she's expected to use a pseudonym "almost as if she was living in a witness protection-like program," the source reportedly said.

She is also considering various disguises, although she's rejected the option of plastic surgery, according to the source.

Today I have had someone come up with an idea that I wanted CA to be released? Not true. I even posted a poll. I thought the trial was heading towards a Mistrial as the Defense was all over the place and the Prosecution was bringing Witnesses to the stand that either seemed to be committing perjury or nearly admitting they killed Caylee.

I can't see this Woman living as a person who can make money off of this without being Casey Anthony and this story seems to allude that she wants to become anonymous.

I've followed MSNBC, CNN, Headline News and Fox as well as NBC, CBS and ABC the last Month. Prior to that....I can't remember as it has been flashed across the news screens for a very long time. This case has come to an end that most folks didn't think would happen. It's been named "OJ2" and her release date has been moved once already and there is pending litigation. There was speculation that she couldn't change her name as she is a felon but Fox's Article doesn't address that at all. All I can think is she is thinking she can get away with a pseudonym or alias which really does seem to go right along with her prior MO as a liar.

Her Mom has been reported on today and will not be tried for perjury.

This story is not over by a long shot.

I think you need to understand that by saying that....you sound like a Vigilante that is part of a movement to stone this Woman in the Streets because her Defense Team got her off a Death Row Verdict and any subsequent attempts to try her for the Murder of her Daughter.
